Clear V5 vs V4 cure times

What is the effective difference in the Clear V5 vs V4 settings?
I have been curing V5 with essentially V4 settings. I just updated my Cure L and I seen V5 on the list. The curing situation is very different. Not sure in time but in pre stuff etc…

What is the difference? Does curing V5 like V4 cause any issues? Can it make it stronger/better? Is it basically the same cure only you save time?

Thanks

Hi!
Thanks for your question!

The standard cure settings for Clear Resin V5 on the Form Cure L V1 are a 5 minute cure at room temperature, while the standard cure for Clear V4 is 15 minutes at 60°C. You can find detailed information on the different cure settings and their effect here.
As you can see, curing for 15 minutes at 60°C (as you have done, with the settings for Clear V4) is an alternative option for Clear V5. Compared to the shorter cure without heat, it achieves the highest strength, stiffness, and heat deflection temperature, while the recommended 5-minute cure results in the highest dimensional accuracy.
I hope this helps!
