I’m jeweler. I bought Form 2 to make jewelry master models but after 3 month of trying everything including the tutorials provided by Formlabs and forum tips and suggestion, I don’t seem to get a single decent result!
Could someone please help me with this problem of porous surface after casting?
There are a few different variables that could lead to surface porosity with casting. One of the first troubleshooting steps, is to ensure that parts are being fully cured prior to casting. For many parts, 6-8 hours of UV curing is necessary and some larger geometries can require 8-10.
I’ve even tried 24 hours of curing and using a tip on the forum even microwaving the parts, still no successful result!
