Can we print to a file and upload without Preform?

My PC connected to Form 1+ just crashed. I was thinking of using my laptop to print instead but unfortunately it has issue running Preform (v 1.9 on Win 7, crashed the display driver when running.) And my next available PC is too far away to connect with the Form 1+ via USB cable.

So is it possible to print form one computer to a file, and then bring the file to another computer to upload to the Form 1+ without running Preform?

I don’t think there’s any way to do that

you can buy a 50 foot Ethernet cable. that will work also

I have the other computer on Ethernet network. Will the Form 1+ work with an USB - Ethernet converter?

No. At least not with my TrippLite.
