Can shell thickness cause failure?

I posted previously about a print fail and the result of that was do not use internal supports which resulted in my second print coming out more or less perfect. My third print has failed and I am wondering if it is because the walls are too thick, my thoughts are if its a thickness issue shouldn’t the print have failed earlier?

Thanks

Did you see any layer anomalies in PreForm at those layers?

Hi

Nope - the model looked good in Preform - no red areas. I did get the usual ‘anomalies’ issue and repair when I imported but the file was fine as I stl checked it in 3ds max…
