I picked up a Form 1+ for $30 and have been having fun with the bottle of ApplyLabWorks Clear that came with the purchase, but now that I look at the price for Formlabs or ApplyLabWorks resin it is so high for a hobbyist like me. Has anyone found any other 3rd Party Resign that is cheaper that I can use? I purchased a bottle of AnyCubic for SLA - ANYCUBIC 3D Printer Resin, 405nm SLA UV-Curing Resin with High Precision and Quick Curing & Excellent Fluidity for LCD 3D Printing (Clear, 1kg). But now after reading all the info on Formlabs printers and resins not sure if I should try it or return it before I open it.
Ran into the same thing here. Bought a form1 for $100 and then spent $85 on resin. If you have prime than applylabworks ordered via amazon is going to likely be your cheapest option. At some level if your going to be doing a lot of prints as a non business user itll be cheaper to just buy a lcd printer from elegoo or anycubic in the long term. Ive done a lot of looking and havent come across anything cheaper with shipping included than the applylabworks on amazon. The formlabs stuff is usually about $80 +$20 shipping even though i live a state over from where it is made.
