It would be extremely useful to be able to align the rotation and position of one model to another. This would be especially helpful if you import a slightly modified version of a model you have already taken the time to carefully orient for the best print results. Instead of having to “eyeball” it you could just choose ALIGN and pick the model to snap to. Bam!

And just like the linked topic, I think this kind of feature are essential to a printing preparation software.

We’re halfway there with the ability to re-use support locations when switching materials with PreForm 2.14.0 
This is on our team’s radar and we’re looking into possible implementations.
