Silicone 40A Preform Support Creation Bug

Using Silicone 40A material, the support auto-generation is creating large scaffolds that aren’t connected to the part. Is this intentional?

The large scaffolds you’re noticing, although they might not seem directly connected to your part, are intentionally generated. They’re designed to absorb and distribute the forces that occur during the printing process that would otherwise warp the part.

You can proceed to print the part as-is, and if you encounter any issues or have further questions, our support team is here to help you every step of the way.
