XYZPrinting UV Curing Chamber

@Seung_Jae_Lee 365nm and 405nm are simultaneously emitted. We do offer 405nm-only LEDs as a separate option if that is your preference.

Thanks ! Is it noisy ? I haven’t seen any video.

@fabreax No, virtually silent. You can hear the fan if you put your ear up to it.

Ok, it’s a silent fan. What is the temperature in the chamber ?
Formlabs recommends 45°C and 60°C (https://formlabs.com/fr/support/finish/post-curing-prints/)

@fabreax Heat can be “off”, or anywhere between 30 and 60c in 5 degree increments. Specifications such as this can be found near the bottom of the page at https://www.wickedengineering.com/curebox.

It’s worth saying that I have neither, but:

The XYZ chamber will work and so will the CUREbox. Heck, you could cure your parts under sunlight in your window.

The biggest discrepancy is that if you want the strengths and properties specified by Formlabs for their resins, you will almost certainly have higher consistency with the CUREbox, based solely on the Formlabs charts regarding temperature and wavelength cure requirements. Look for the formlabs whitepaper, which is posted all over the forum. You could probably otherwise make the XYZ work for smaller and less property dependent material curing. It looks like the XYZ is an economical option for people who would otherwise make their own boxes and can’t afford a CUREbox.

Edit:

“Anybody have experience with XYZPrinting and their products? Quality? Customer support?”

While I do not, maybe there is someone else here who does?
