Good question. The red shading refers to the “supportedness” of a part. Partially red areas are not well supported and may not print ideally. Very red areas are more unsupported and will likely not print well.
Red does not necessarily mean that the area *cannot* be properly supports–it just refers to the chosen orientation. If you see some red, try a new orientation.
