Hi
You can make really big models with form2. This here is a grasshopper I made in January for a museum in Austria. Body length is 110 cm from head to the end of abdomen. I think I printed 75 parts to build it.
That is epic!!! Beautiful!!
All I can say is Holy S**t !!
I think you win. That one is simply insane!
You make the coolest prints. Amazing as always.
Thank you that you like it.
Woah! Awesome job!!!
How did you do each “hair” on its body? Printed too?
Love that! Great work!
Yes. This little hairs are all printed as well. Over 3000 hairs.
That’s more than 50 continuous hours gluing hair! Lol
Out of curiosity, how much does a project like this bill at, from Design to last drop of paint?
Excellent!
No, its not 50 hours its much less. If you have some practice you can do it very fast. I can not tell you the costs of the model and all the other work but it is not that cheap.
Hello KlausLeitl,
Fantastic work!
If you are interested, I am looking for someone who can do some printing for me. I need someone who can take a large 3D model, and cut it up and hollow it out… and then ofcourse print them. These would be somewhat large figures (11 or so inches tall) that would be cut into 4 to 6 pieces for printing. The cutting up part I can do myself if you dont want to mess with that aspect.
Please let me know if this is something you are interested in!
Thank you for your time, your work is awesome!
John
Hello John
Thank you that you like the work.
To answer your question: Sorry I don‘t do jobs like this. I just print my own work.
Ciao
