How long will V1./v1.1 stay in production now with the launch of V2?

Tough 2000 Resin V1.1 and Durable Resin V2.1 will be sunset on May 31, 2026. We have added the Sunsetting Notice to PreForm 3.54, which is available now.

Are these resins versions mixable? At least during the transition.

Does this mean that these materials will be completely unavailable to form 3 users? AFAIK these new materials have been exclusively announced for the form 4 platform.

To clarify: The versions to be sunset (Tough 2000 Resin V1.1 and Durable Resin V2.1) are resin formulations that are designed for Form 4. So for Form 4 users, only Tough 2000 Resin V2 and Tough 1000 Resin will be available after May 2026.
The corresponding resin formulations for the Form 3 generation (Tough 2000 Resin V1 and Durable Resin V2) will still be available. You can find details about the ongoing support for Form 3 generation printers here.

The same applies to Tough 1500: Tough 1500 Resin V1.1 is sunset on Form 4 generation printers, but Tough 1500 Resin V1 remains available for Form 3 generation printers.

Different resin versions are not mixable in general.

Formlabs won’t ever officially say you can mix, but I’ve successfully transitioned before in the past without any major headaches
