Tips for Printing_Form4

Hello,
i’m a new user for this brand, i have to print this model with forma 4 and black resin v5.
My target it’s to maximaze the aesthetics part of the front surface.
Have you any tips for the print and wash/cure settings?

Thankss

I have better luck printing at around 20 to 30 degree angle and I always follow the Wash and Cure Recipes provided by Formlabs

Tough part! Are you able to add drain holes into the features on the front face? Might open up your options for a higher angle print without having to worry about cupping as much (I set it to about 75deg x-axis rotation, thicker part towards the bottom). Either way I would plan on having to sand and polish for the aesthetics you are looking for.

Good luck with your print @DanIso. @MattRForerunner and @barreax2
tips are spot on for your specific print.

Generally for prepping future Form 4 prints, I think you’ll find a lot of value going to our main support page where we have many specific resources for getting started and essentially gives you a check list as you set up your file and print. I review this sometimes myself when I’m printing to make sure I’m not missing anything.

Go down to Software:

And in the case of file prep, go to Model Orientation best practices for SLA printing:

Good luck and let us know how it turns out! :form_4:
