I’m not sure if this question was ever asked but I’m just wondering am I allow to use my remaining Tough v2000 resin on my old tank onto a new Tough V2000 tank? One of my tank have reached the max lifespan but there are quite a lot of Tough v2000 resin on the tank. I couldn’t find any documentation about reusing the remaining resin on an existing tank to a new tank.
Yes, of course you can. Might as well filter the resin before re-using it, but other than that precaution, reuse away.
The tank holds almost half a litre of resin, so if you don’t reuse the leftover resin you’re wasting near half of your resin.
