Resin Tank Not Recognized

Any thoughts on why a new resin tank is not recognized by the Form 2 printer? My printer is reasonably new and extremely clean. I wiped the contacts just to be sure. From my observation the difference between the tank being recognized and not recognized is only small movements of the tank I believe the sensor on the tank and the sensor on the printer are simply too small and it is difficult to make contact reliably when changing tanks. I think FormLabs should revisit the dimensional tolerance stack-up on these critical items. Any other thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

I love the printer when it prints but so far I am not impressed with the reliability in daily use situations.

The vast majority of the time this isn’t an issue. Try to see if you can get the tray into position to where it registers, if that doesn’t work then contact customer support.
