Recurring Issues with Corner Integrity in Resin 3D Printing

I have attempted to print this model four times, each with different positions and rotations using the Anycubic slicer, and I also tried Lychee with automatic support.

Each time, I’ve encountered the same issue, particularly at the corners, as shown in the pictures. When I place the model parallel to the bed, the corners lose their attachment, becoming rounded and loose with significant holes. I tried positioning the model at one corner and tilting it up to 30 degrees, which resulted in a better outcome than placing it parallel. In this orientation, the corners were still rounded, but there were no holes or detachment.

Slicing Parameters:

  • Layer Thickness: 0.05 mm
  • Normal Exposure Time: 3.60 s
  • Off Time: 0.50 s
  • Bottom Exposure Time: 30.00 s
  • Bottom Layers: 5
  • Anti-alias: 1
  • Z Lift Distance: 8.00 mm
  • Z Lift Speed: 6.00 mm/s
  • Z Retract Speed: 6.00 mm/s
Could these issues be related to my slicing settings, or is there another problem I need to address?

Hi, please generate support and slice your models with PreForm on Formlabs printers, we don’t support third-party slicers.
