The Open material mode is now included with all 4B and 4BL purchases as of Jan 2026.
Any lead user who purchased the same printer before this date, even if they purchased upgraded kits or expanded packages, is expected to pay 3K for the same privilege.
Frankly, as someone who has already spent a lot of money on a premium package, I find this baffling, and it’s clearly just a way to try to extract more money from the people who pioneered the product.
