Prevent Preform from asking asking me to log in

How can I prevent Preform from asking me to log in every time it opens?

I don’t want to connect it to your cloud. Ever.

There should be a “Never ask again” checkbox. Or a command-line switch to suppress this dialog. Or a registry setting. Something. Anything.

The software is harassing me with this unnecessary step every time I use it. Honestly it feels like a “dark nag pattern” to push users to your cloud.
