I print a lot of dental models and have a big problem trying to print hollowed-out full arch models of the upper arch when printed directly on the build platform. The roof of the mouth (palate) is always free-floating when printed, so I add supports, but even they aren’t strong enough and I always end up with a failed print or I have to print the model using supports which takes a lot more time and can also sometimes fail.
My suggestion is to create an option in Preform to create a thick column, instead of small wire-sized supports, to help with hard-to print spots.
