Post cure warp in SLA linked to insufficient drying

I’ve been talking about this on and off for a while now and am routinely surprised at the lack of knowledge on this, so I thought I would write up a short blog post and share here.

I’ll be working on a YouTube video in the future to show some more examples…but TLDR is:

  • Drying SLA parts has a big impact on post cure warping
  • For best results, parts should be placed in a dehydrator
  • Using compressed air is NOT enough to dry parts - you cannot rely on visual “dryness”
  • This impacts dimensional accuracy too

Here’s the full blog post…hopefully will follow up with a video in the next month or two when I have some time.
