Dear Formlabs Team,
I would like to suggest a small improvement regarding the resizing functionality in the software.
On the French version of the 3.50.2 app, currently, only the comma (,) is accepted as a decimal separator when resizing a part. However, it would be much more convenient if the dot (.) could also be used, especially when using the numeric keypad, which has a dot by default.
Supporting both symbols would improve usability and streamline the workflow for many users.
Thank you for considering this suggestion!
Best regards,
Nicolas
[Partially fixed] : switch the application to English.
Hi @AtelierDZT, thanks for flagging this. To see if this is something we can fix on our end or if it’s tied to your operating system’s language settings, could you let us know what operating system you’re using (e.g. Windows 10, macOS Ventura, etc., your PreForm version and build, your system language and regional format settings, and your PreForm language settings.
This will help us investigate further, thanks!

Hello @henryqiu, thank you for your fast answer.
I’m using Windows 11, French keyboard.
I was using the French version 3.50.1.550 until just now. (before your reply). Last check <48 hours ago.
I just switched the software to English and updated it to 3.50.2.555.
By switching the language to English, I just tried it, and the dot ‘.’ can be used as a decimal separator.
My problem is therefore solved as long as I’m using the English version, which doesn’t bother me.
But the comma ‘,’ doesn’t give the expected result (for a French person ^^), although this isn’t a problem in my case.
