Nylon 12GF

Hi everyone.

Can someone help me out here, i would be truly greatful.

I need someone to check the blue creditcards that are included in the 10kg bags of Nylon 12GF.

What does it say on the card, does it say Nylon 12 or Nylon 12GF.

We run our printers with Nylon 12GF.

I just noticed one of our cards says Nylon 12 10kg and all other cards from the jugs say Nylon 12GF 6kg.
This is quite worrying as my gut tells me we got the wrong bag. We have only gotten 1 pcs 10kg so far, the rest have been jugs. The bag has already been used and none of us noticed any difference on the labels and the bag is thrown out. We have had some issues for the past weeks so im worrying that this might be the cause of it.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards.

Hello @Andreasemilsson,
We do not sell Nylon 12GF in 10kg bags. So if you have a 10kg Nylon bag, it’s just Nylon 12. GF comes in jugs only.

If something was sent to you in error, please reach out to the Channel partner or direct supplier to follow up.

Well that confirms my gut feeling then. Our service rep sent us a Nylon 12 insted of Nylon 12GF. Thx for the confirmation.

How big of a mess up will this be for the printers? @Don_E

@Andreasemilsson,
Thanks for the followup. And I see you’re in contact already with Formlabs Services. The rest of the follow-up will be there. Thanks for reaching out.

For all others who are following along, its recommended that either for switching powders, or in the event of a different powder being put in a Fuse/Sift, that the Fuse/Sift be fully cleaned prior to next use.
