We currently run a Form 3L and a Form 3+ each with their individual washing and curing stations. I want to recommend implementing Slack notifications. Prusa offers this, and it is really nice to be notified when a print is complete, or when an error has occurred and human intervention is required. We currently have a 3D-printing Slack channel that gets pinged when one of our printers completes a job. FormLabs offering just email and text notifications is behind the curve. Prusa also has Telegram notifications.
I also saw a couple other posts about washing and curing notifications. These should be software patches for you on the Form 3L hardware since those already require an internet connection. The smaller Form 3+ washing and curing stations would need to be upgraded with a WiFi connection to make notifications possible. Still very valuable just more work to implement.
How do large printer farms that use your tech have any efficient workflow without any notifications that a print is done washing or curing?
All great ideas! Thank you for explaining your use case.
One quick solution that you might try is Slack’s built-in ability to post to a channel by sending an email to a Slack-generated email address. I think you could put the generated email as a notification email in Dashboard and that may be a way to get Dashboard Slack notifications today. Link to Slack docs: Send emails to Slack | Slack
