Micro-channels, Biomed Clear v1 resign using Formlabs 4b

Hello people,
I’ve been using the biomed clear v1 resin and I wanted to implement an internal channel within a design and inject it with curable coloured resign later, but every time I get to it the channel tends to close off.
the parameters for the print I’ve done is
50 microns resolution resin
0.5mm length of the internal channel and 0.5 depth.
33mm overall height of the channel
build orientation 40 degrees with good support.
IPA dipped after printing and used a bit a air pressure to clear the channel.
then ima washed it for 10 min.
used air pressure again for 30 seconds on the channel.
curing parameters were 10 minutes of drying,45 min of curing at 45 degrees
The constraints I have is, I can’t change the material, the project I’m working on has to be clear v1.

Hi! Thanks for sharing your issue!

We’ve shared some best practices for printing parts with narrow channels in our white paper on printing millifluidic devices. Based on the tests conducted for this white paper, our recommendation is to print at a 50 μm layer height with channels down to 700 μm wide.

On top of part design and print settings, the white paper also gives recommendations for post-processing, such as washing out the channel using an IPA-filled syringe, both before and after washing.
Please have a look at our best practices in the linked white paper and let us know if they helped improve your workflow!

can you post some photos? its hard to visualize the problem and any creative solutions.
