I’ve looked at the material data sheets available. I was wondering if we could ask about heat deflection temperatures at other Pressures or if there was a full graph which we could reference. I’m specifically looking for the HDT of the Clear resin for the Form 2 at 27 psia. Just want to know possible operating limits of these prototype parts. Thanks.
Based on my experience, the cured resins all have fairly low melting temperatures. They all start getting really soft well below 100ºC.
But FL did just release a new high-temp resin. Their demo uses a printed nozzle on a propane torch to demonstrate the print’s tolerance to heat.
