I try to avoid printing objects with large flat areas because of that precise reason, it’s one of the reasons (only a small one) why I target my business at producing artistic pieces rather than engineering ones.
Can you clarify what you mean by using a syringe? Do you mean too much resin enters the vat and you manually draw it out? Would the vat overflow if you didn’t?
That’s exactly what I mean, it’s happened a few times so it’s just something you need to keep on top of. It’s only an issue if you are printing more than 8 hours or so.
Nice, thanks for the clarification and info! I guess the resin cartridge has a barcode on it, so I will need to purchase a gray tank? I ordered an extra tank - but only clear resin so far. Sorry for the dumb question - my printer isn’t here yet!
