"Just a jump to the left, and a step to the right"

Ok, what the heck is going on here. My prints are in a time warp! I am experiencing layer sliding now? This print came out with the parts in the front all slipped around like a bad card shuffle and as you migrate toward the back the “layer stacking” gets better. How do you explain this? What is really weird is that the supports are mostly straight.

Tighten your build platform again? It loosens over time. When moving the build platform by hand (left-right) does it move independently or does the whole “tower” only move?

It is not the problem of a loose build platform. I solved that issue months ago by welding the plastic top to the plastic casing.

I am quite vexed by the supports. I would think if something physically slid, then everything should have shifted.

I went back and decimated the models. I don’t know if the cause was too much geometry, but when I reduced the poly count the print worked. Go figure.
