How to Toughen-up a print?

Any suggestions for something that I could spray or coat a print with that would make it much harder to break?

I spray all my prints with a UV clear coat but I’d like something that will do more towards added structural integrity.

Any ideas appreciated!

You can always have your finished prints electroplated for maximum toughness.

I hear some people even do Titanium Nitride coatings on plastics, but not much info online about it.

That would be super cool! I’m curious what it would cost.

Form had a blog post written a while back about the plating that I glanced over today: http://formlabs.com/blogs/blog/8344510-electroplating-with-the-form-1

I will ping a couple of Material Scientists I know to see if they would have any further ideas for this thread.

Thanks Scott, I’m looking forward to what you discover!
