Grey V4 for injection molding

In case anyone was wondering about whether a general purpose resin would work in injection molding. These parts are ABS at 240 degrees and 120psi. This was an early attempt so not the best results but subsequent ones have been much better. They seem to be holding up well.

So that’s a generic buck that holds your Resin printed MOLD? Does it have just standard openings to the chamber? What I mean to ask is how do you get your liquid ABS into the inner chamber?

Yes, the aluminum holds the printed mold and both have a sprue (pathway) for the plastic to flow into. Ideally you would have several standard bucks (holders, carriers, etc.) and print your inserts to fit. I have a few different items to inject that will use this one.
