Form 2 Build plate dropping into resin tank

Hi, I have a form2 printer. When I try and print as it starts the build plate drops all the way down into the resin tank. It then shuts down the printer, comes up with a message “unexpected shutdown”
I have just brought this second hand so trying to test it to see if it works. Thankyou for any help you may be able to provide.
