Hi Formlab users,
I have today printed my first design in castable resin but unfortunately did it fail.
Therefore do search for help regard about support settings for limiting the use of points on my jewelry.
I have use the following setup in preform.
Hope there is a friendly soul who will help me
You have to angle the modell and add supports.
Flat parts parallel to the platform without supports must fail.
Hey there. One rule to follow is never have large surfaces parallel to the build platform (by large I mean proportionally to the rest of the part).
Also the Model orientation article on Formlab’s website gives very good explanations as to the reasons why parts are oriented a certain way. This guide is valid for any type of parts, jewelry or not.
