Hello!
I have been using PreForm to apply texture to a small electrical enclosure, similar to the online Formlabs Texture Engine. The online one has a limit to the max number of triangles that PreForm doesn’t have, so only PreForm has successfully applied the texture.
Is there a way to export that new texturized model?
Unfortunately there is no way to export the texturized model from PreForm. The web tool would be the closest alternative but as you’ve mentioned, it’s limited by what can be achieved within a web browser tool with those resources. PreForm is much more powerful but sends the sliced .form files directly to your printers. But I’ll take note of this feedback for future conversations on how to improve this tool!
Chitubox can even reverse an *ctb file. Orcaslicer allows it, bambustudio, prusaslicer, orcaflashforge, flashprint I mean…
I do remember a company that used an special flavour of gcode named zcode and eventually they needed to allow material compatibility and adding options, even the option to convert zcode to gcode to stay competitive, you do have a great platform so did them The best ABS machine for years, now the company is broken and mostly dead due to not listening to their loyal userbase, left behind by innovation coming from china, no company is secure in this changing times.
