Degradation of clear v4 in concentrated KOH solution?

Dear community,

for the purpose of running electrochemical experiments in a custom printed test setup, I have printed an electrochemical corrosion cell from clear v4 resin with a Form 3L SLA printer. After curing as instructed and running several experiments at 70°C with concentrated KOH solution (30m%) I deteced several lines in the inside of the cell, which I believe showed up during the experiments. These might be a sign of degradation due to the exposure to hot KOH, which I admit are extremely harsh conditions. The scratches only show up at the inside of the cell and are vertical to the direction of printing so the could be growing along the layers of the print.

Has anyone seen these scratches before and has suggestions how to deal with them?

Check this Github issue for further details on the topic.

I think all of the basic Formlabs resins absorb liquids over time and using it with harsh chemicals seems like it would degrade quickly over time, but I’m not really all that knowledgeable in the area.
