Recently with preform 3.13.0 I’ve been experiencing system crashes about 75% through the upload of a file to the Form 3. This only occurs with the Form 3 as I have been able to upload to my Form 2 with no issues at all.
I have tried uploading via, USB, Ethernet via Router, Direct connect Ethernet, and Wifi all with the same result.
System specs.
AMD Ryzen 9 3950x @4GHz
64GB RAM
EVGA RTX 3090FTW3
Windiows 10 Pro Version 20H2

Typically I’d say this points to insufficient computer horsepower, but that clearly isn’t your issue with those specs.

I have found a workaround, but it’s not ideal. I was able to prevent it from crashing by changing the CPU affinity for Preform to every other core instead of allowing all cores. So this effectively halves the speed of the processing and prevents Preform from asking the CPU for more than it can give. Not sure why this has only recently started happening.
