BioMed Clear warping during cure

I am trialing some parts that are used in cleanroom environments as printed instead of traditionally machined. They need to sit flat on the table as it will be a reference for other components. I am using Biomed Clear and orienting such that the bottom is flat to maintain circularity of printed dowel pin holes. The prints come out flat but when I cure in the FormCureL they keep warping. Is there a minimum thickness of basically a flat plate that won’t warp?

@erich_lohmann, there could be a couple of reasons that the parts are not staying flat during the curing process. Are you waiting at least 30 minutes after washing before you cure? How long are you washing your parts?

We do have a suggested minimum thickness of printed parts. The best place to find our printing best practices would be on our support site.

Also, you can always open a support case, and our agents would be happy to work with you to get you printing as expected.

So We do this for parts we are having issues with warping during post processing and then we remove the supports after curing I would make sure you’re following the wash steps and not letting them absorb to much IPA also like @jessbuck said wait at least 30 mins or longer then cure if your able to clamp the part to something to keep it flat while cooling you can also do that. Just somethings we’ve had success with
