Adding 3D internal supports

the internal support check box works okay as a automatic support.
you can not manually add supports inside a model though. maybe a shift function to let you add supports inside a model
or a transparent view when adding supports might help.
e.g. a ball inside a ball.

You can add internal supports manually so long as your model has a hole in its outer surface which allows you access.

Hi Ozzie and Jason,

We enabled the slicer in manual support mode for just this purpose. (The slicer is the vertical bar on the right side of PreForm, with a small handle at the bottom of it.)

It enables you to view only an upper chunk of your model (in manual support mode), so that you can edit supports inside of difficult-to-reach hollows. Have you given this a try?
