Uncured Resin: Remove or cure?

I have a question: The soft uncured resin that is on parts (normal gray resin), is that part of the geometry? I am trying to make some high tolerance parts and I want to know if I should be focused on removing that soft layer with further IPA soak/agitation, or if it IS part of the geometry and I should be focused on curing it fully.

The uncured resin on the part is residual from the printing process and isn’t part of the final geometry. The primary function of the IPA bath is to remove that residual layer, and your part should be dry to the touch after the bath.
