You add color to Durable? Do you use the formlabs color kit for that or do you get dyes somewhere else?
I’ve tried using Formlabs color kit components, but I find I need way more pigment by volume to get basic fleshtones than I do with other types, which leads to more print failures (particularly with darker fleshtones).
I DO like their magenta because it’s about the only pink pigment I’ve found that doesn’t bleach out in printing and curing, but I only use about 2mL of it in a liter of Durable.
For light-to-medium fleshtones I use a mix of
-1-2mL Formlabs Magenta
-Smooth-on So Strong White and Flesh to taste
-Formlabs Yellow for sunkissed tans
For dark fleshtones I use:
-Smooth-On So Strong Flesh and/or White for opacity
-Sennelier Dry Pigment Burnt Umber
-Formlabs magenta for taste
I also use 3DResyns cure accelerator, mostly with the darker fleshtones but I find it allows for higher pigment concentrations even in the lighter tones.
Your tiny figures looks so cute! They appears to be alived, so much colors and feelings involved!
Amazing work, since when you draw them until they are ready! Very very nice work!
Best regards,
Luis
I’ve been working along since my last posts! My newest development is ‘follow-me’ eyes, which are printed as sculpted hollows, painted, and capped over with clear UV jewelry resin.
I don’t think I could do most of my work without Formlabs Durable resin, it’s fairly incredible stuff I go through it by the gallon lol

It’s really awesome stuff I’ve been saving some images for inspiration …keep up the good work let’s see what you come up with next!
Great Stuff. You make me wanna crack out and design again
