Research open 3D printer - nano and micro particles

Hi, I would like to use the FORM 1 for scientific research, to produce nano tech materials. Is it easy to replace the resin with another of my choice, for example with embedded nano structures? Is it easy to clean the duct afterwards to avoid contamination?

With regards,

Riccardo

How small are your nano particles?

I’ve tried aluminum nano particles (30 micron) and the prints failed. Cleaning the tank after that was not easy either

Hi,

I am thinking about latex particle of up to few microns and often just metal particles of ~0.1 micron. How did you clean the tank?

Is the polymer always at room temperature in the pipes or it warms up?

Thanks!

Riccardo
