Print data download

Hello

I need to download the print data stored on my Form2 so I can check whats been printed. I have dodgy wi-fi connection so I keep loosing connection to the dashboard. I can see all the jobs in the queue still. How can I do this?

Hey @Incydental,

Thanks so much for taking the time to post. Just to confirm, are you looking to actually get Form/SLA files off of the printer, or simply see a list of what’s been printed?

As far as the files themselves, it’s important to remember that the only thing that gets sent to the printer when you start a print is pretty raw machine code that’s essentially instructions for the laser, layer by layer. The actual .form file never goes to the Form 2 from your computer.

If I’ve misunderstood what you’re looking for please don’t hesitate to correct me and I’ll do my best to lend a hand from there!

I don’t actually need the data I just need to see whats been printed. I know the Dashboard would normally log this, but like I said, our wifi sucks and drops connection all the time so I cant track orders remotely.

You should be able to scroll through the last few print jobs directly on the printer’s UI screen(via the “Jobs” button on the UI homescreen) as well as on Dashboard if that helps!
