Is there a limit to how much a print can weight for the Form 3L? I have a large print on a Form 3L using Rigid 10K resin. My engineer is concerned about the weight of the part on the build plate. He thinks it might break free from the print surface and damage the tank. Or the motor might not be able to move to print bed when it gets heavy.
I wouldn’t be concerned with the motor, but the actual weight and gravity acting against a solid piece might be pushing it. Though, they’ve shown printing those large speaker housings which take up a lot of the build volume and didn’t have issues.
Yeah the motor was the least of my concerns but Rigid 10K is a very heavy resin and the print will use about 4L. There might be a small chance it will detach from the build platform but I think it will be ok.
