Dear Formlabs Team,
I’d like to suggest a feature that could greatly improve workflow efficiency for users handling multi-part or sequential print projects: the ability to create and manage multiple build plates (or “plates”) within a single project.
This would allow users to :
- Prepare multiple print jobs within one project file
- Organize parts across different plates for better clarity
- Easily switch between plates and send them to print one by one
- Avoid having to save separate project files for each stage of a multi-part print
It’s especially useful for projects involving a large number of pieces that need to be printed in separate runs due to build volume limitations.
Let me know what you think — and if the dev team sees this, I’d love to know if this could be considered for a future release!
