Dear FormLabs Staff,
It would be great to have a Linux compatible version of PreForm (or at the very least of PreForm Server).
All other machines in our lab have Linux compatible software, sadly FormLabs seems to be the only one still lacking behind.

I second that. I’m currently moving from Windows 11 to the CachyOS Arch Linux distribution and it would be great to be able to use PreForm there.
Have you tried install via WINE?

Please do not get me wrong, but I was looking for a supported stable feature, as other vendors are offering, not an unsupported workaround prone to potential failure on each update.
As per my previous attempts, using WINE to run Preform on Linux Mint 23 does NOT work. As more people are moving away from Windows, now would be the perfect time to provide a Linux-compatible build. Thanks 
Agreed. I wouldn’t run Windows at all if I didn’t have to and it’s always programs like this holding the people back from ultimately making the switch
How I would love it if Onshape, UDesign, and Preform all had native linux options…

When is the last time Formlabs actually discussed this request though? Because this request has become a LOT more relevant in the last 12 months than ever before.
It took 8 years (2013-2021) for Linux to increase usage from 1% to 2%
In the last 4 years, that doubled. 4%
In the last 12 months, it doubled again. Now 8%
Linux is now sitting around 8% usage across the world for desktop use and it’s increasing exponentially. Is there any chance that this request will see renewed support internally at Formlabs because of market trends?
