Mixing Tough Resins

Hi folks,

I really need a Tough 3000 resin. Obviously, the best way to do this is to mix Tough 2000 and Rigid 4k :joy: I’m making a part that is going to be under constant load on a compound bow, but as soon as it is taken outside, it heats up and deforms.

Has anyone done anything like this and to what extent did it work/not work?

What about SLS? PA12 has a good HDT and PA12GF would be even stiffer

I tried, but it has to be SLA.

Very interested to see how this turns out.

does the Tough2000 + Rigid 4K heat and deform or a component made from other material? and outside - as in print bed or outdoors?

Outdoors. This stuff absorbs heat like crazy since it’s so dark. On a hot day, it gets pretty soft. I’m going to do a science and see if I can come up with something  I might try the high temp resin as well or maybe an unholy concoction of the 3.

What if you paint it white?
