Is it ok to mix Form 3 resins into Form 4 resins? For example, I have 440 grams of flame retardant which I’ve used with my Form 3. Resin is expensive so I’d prefer not to discard this. Can I pour this into a Form 4 tank and print with Form 4 flame retardant cartridge? What about other resins, such as standard black?
I’ve done this with success. It’s not recommended, and you may get poorer accuracy - but it can work as a transionary phase over to the new materials. Your mileage may vary though!
