You don’t have to filter the resin every time, it’s completely unnecessary. I only do it if there have been issues with a print (such as the one you’re having right now), as this means stray bits of cured or partially cured resin can still be in the tank and thus can get in the way of the laser. You can find instructions on how to filter the resin on Formlabs’ support pages.
I see that you only had the printer for one month, is it your first experience with Formlabs printers and with SLA in general ? If so I would really recommend keeping the default values in terms of point size and support density. One you have confidence the printer and resin and your orientation methods are working fine, then you can start reducing the density and eventually the point size for lighter parts.
i had the choice to get a SLA for small and detail part or a big one… and i chose it for the small parts
but i not sure, if this was right… as you see the main problem is the break away of my original grey formlabs resin.
so i must fill this with putty again, and its a lot of work…
for my logic is was with the point density like, 1.0 means to have a bigger area on my part, which i must sand away, to have only density 0,6 means a smaller point, which is more and better…
but thats not correct or?
do i also make a mistake in the ipa wash with the time of 20 min each?
form other sla printer i know, only a short bath and then directly clean
Grey Formlabs resin foams in my machine too.
I have left parts in the alcohol over night with no noticeable effects.
Left some over the weekend once and they turned out very flexible!
I get my 99% alcohol from Uline here https://www.uline.com/BL_6718/Alcohol-Peroxide?keywords=Alcohol
