After months of testing, lots of resin, and lots of failed parts - I have a pretty consistent print setting for Silicone on the 4L.
In fact, the settings that we’ve changed also carry over to the Form 4 and greatly improve success rates across the board.
I’ll be making some blog posts and YouTube videos on this in the future, but in the meantime, we are selling the print setting on our store to recoup the time & consumables spent on this.
We’ll send both the F4 and F4L print settings with a purchase. Looking forward to seeing what people can create in Silicone with this 
The silicone is awesome stuff. Without giving away your secret sauce, what problems do your settings solve? Those prints look SUPER clean!

Silicone is very weak in its green state, which means tearing, ripping off the BP, supports failing, etc. Our print settings fix that and allow you to print parts that would otherwise fail completely even on the F4 stock settings.
I’ve printed some really tall parts that were surprisingly successful and also parts from other people/companies that failed outright.
This is an example that fails with stock settings but resolves with ours (this is one of the sample parts in the previous pictures)
Very cool! We’re doing something similiar - the biggest thing I’ve noticed is overexposure on support tips, even when modeling in the supports in CAD. It’s pretty awesome material. The folks out the airbase here LOVE it. This one is fresh out of the curing bath.
That looks awesome! Auto generated supports in Preform are actually really bad for Silicone. They aren’t optimized for the viscosity, so parts with a lot of supports actually end up creating more cupping than without, which is why you always get better results printing flat on BP with zero supports.
Definitely a cool material. I wish washing it was easier though haha…
Indeed! Designing for 3D printing is certainly something to consider, then add the properties of this silicone on top of that!

Yup! Are you just running silicone on the Form 4?
We do a lot of stuff on the form4. That seal is for an airplane toilet, so we’ll see how it holds up. I got a lot of production with the tough series as well. It’s my absolute favorite SLA printer at the moment. I really want to play around with the Alumina, but I can’t find anyone who can fire it
