Actually, I need to do a second hand, but it’s designed for those to screw in, so I’m going to let my kid start playing with it at this point.

Don’t know if you want the helmet to be see through, but if you do, a simple coat of clear nail polish will do the trick ;).
Actually, that’s after sanding, polishing and spraying. The outer surface is actually great, but the inner surface has proved too difficult to get polished sufficiently for a transparent effect.
That’s where the nail polish comes in. Works 10x better than clear laquer.
