I have a need to produce really smooth small areas on some of my prints, and have found a pretty good way through experimentation. It involves building up edges in the print to create a pool or tank-like area, and then fill in the area with liquid resin after cleaning the print, using a pin to spread it around and level it in the ‘tank’ area. I then put it in the Sun for a while. I’d like more control over the cure though, and be able to do it faster to help prevent dust getting in the resin.
For this I think a hand-held laser would be good.
Questions:
- Can anyone suggest a specific model of laser that is not too expensive and works really well?
- Can anyone suggest a very good pair of protective glasses to get?
- Any other related advice?
Thanks All,
-C
