Formlabs resin washing solution turned to jelly!

Today I found my resin cleaning tank was cloudy and 80% turned to jelly (or jello for the americans). I use the Formlabs Resin Washing Solution as it was advertised as more effective and longer lasting than IPA, but I have gone back to IPA after cleaning it out as I never want to do that again!

Anyone else experienced this?

Hi @thomasgude, this sounds like a phenomenon that happens when resin concentration gets to high and the solvent is exposed to light. IPA shows the same behaviour under these conditions.
Although RWS takes longer to get saturated with resin than IPA does, please make sure the solvent is regularly replaced. If you see a thin film of resin on printed parts after washing, the solution is overly saturated with resin and should be replaced. If you’re using a Form Wash L V1 or Form Wash L V2, with firmware version 1.4.0 or later these units can track the saturation of your Resin Washing Solution using the solvent monitor. Please check this support article for detailed instructions.
Hope this helps!

Thanks, good to know
