Hi
I recently purchased the form 4 with the complete cure and wash kit.
I would like to know why it was not thought of a tap to empty the liquid from the tank.
The liquid became slimy is the pump can’t decant it I had to empty 10 liters of product by hand.

Vorrei sapere perchè non è stato pensato ad un rubinetto per svuotare il liquido dalla vasca.
Il liquido è diventato viscido è la pompa non riesce a travasarlo ho dovuto svuotare 10 litri di prodotto a mano.

Regardless of materials or liquids, it is very inconvenient to empty; a simple tap would suffice.

Ya I understand the simple Tap but you add more ways for it to leak I would recommend changing it out sooner before it becomes too slimy and maybe filtering it and possibly getting a little more life out of it. just a thought

Taps leak. I think the design is excellent. for this very reason.

There is a $12 pump that makes the transfer process quite handy…

It doesn’t get the sludge out of the bottom, but allows you to get your better liquid off quickly.

We have several Wash units and find that it’s best to have SimpleGreen in one, and IPA in the next. We wash in SG, then dip in a ‘splash’ tub of semi-dirty IPA, then wash in the second Wash station with clean IPA.

Every 5-6L of resin printed/processed, we siphon off the top, then pump the bottom gunk out into a vertical separation container. This ‘gunk’ sits around for a month or so, with the tailings of many other tanks, separating into true gunk and reusable.

Then that gets separated again, and the remaining gunk sits in the sun (in a container) for a couple hours to solidify, at which point it can be recycled safely.
